ABOUT PARVATI RAI:
Parvati Rai is a 65 year old lady Shaman from the Kirati (Rai) community of the East Nepal in a place called Chinam'khu. She has been practicing Shamanism since she was 13 years old. She came to Shamanic consciousness as a child in the rarest ways which in Nepal is known as “Bhui Phuta” (Chosen one to be a Self learnt Shaman). During her learning she has been through many obstacles and difficulties and which is long story. Moreover to say she is one of the Shamans, working with this Shamanistic Studies & Research Centre Nepal, who has huge knowledge of spiritual and healing plants of the Himalayas. She is as well the chief Shamans of all Rai communities living the capital Kathmandu, where she is responsible for all the formal Rai celebration in the form of community rituals or in a personal rituals and rites within Kathmandu. She is well respected lady Shaman, and already a Grandmother of 7 grandchildren’s has enormous experience. As a character a shy women and less talkative but with good personality
She is working together in a good cooperation with Shamanistic Studies & Research Centre Nepal since 14 year.
ABOUT BARBARA THREE CROW.
Grandmother Barbara Threecrow is Tunka Hota Wiyan "Gray Stone Woman." She is a sacred bundle carrier and healer and a ceremonial leader in the Lakota tradition. Grandmother Barbara Threecrow carries the sacred pipe (Can'upa) for the people and is the keeper of the sacred stones. She is a cancer survivor. Twenty years ago she received a vision to call women into the sacred circle and to learn the ancient ways of female shamans. The Spirits told her the prophecy of the return of the sacred feminine and asked her to begin to teach the Grandmothers Ways.
Grandmother Threecrow is the author of two books, "Mending the Hoop" and "The Return of the Sacred Feminine and Teachings of the Grandmothers." She tells us that we women are the Earth and the givers of life. She teaches women about the sacred moon time and how to gather their sacred medicines; how to communicate with the Ancestors; and how women are meant to become peace keepers.

ABOUT LUZ MARIA OTAVALO
Mamita Luz Maria Otavalo is known as a "curandera", from de Andean region of Imbabura in Ecuador. She belongs to the Inbaya People and was born into a family of "curanderos", or traditional medicine workers. When she was just a child, she was selected by her father as the one who keeps his knowledge. Unfortunaly, her father died much before she could receive all his teachings, alas, her history is touch with profound and mystical magic, because her training happened on the dream world, every time her father visited her on her dreams to continue the learning.
She is recognized as the best "curandera" on the town of "curanderos", Iluman-Ecuador, and belongs to the group of "Yachacs from Iluman". Many people from around the world come to visit her, looking for her wisdom and help.
