Kuya Raimi Killa

This new gathering is organized by the women from Nabi Nunhue Maloka,  in the southern Colombian Andean region. From the beginning of time, people and communities have designed a space and set aside a special time to honor the power of the Holy Spirit of the Feminine. In the Andean mountains in South America, this festival was given the name KUYA RAIMI KILLA and is celebrated with a special ceremony during the September equinox, which marks the lunar cycle in the Spirit of the Sacred Feminine.

In the ancient Andean traditions, it is the right time for the meeting of the feminine and for the female to host the most sacred healing power. Women come together and call men to honor the Great Mother of Ancestral Life with music, songs, dances, ceremonies, and ancient propitiatory offerings of life and sacred healing virtue for the Renewal and Harmonization of Life.

Everyone, men and women are welcome to participate in this meeting, for nine (9) days, between September 17 and 25, 2011, we will make this festivity  sacred at Nabi Nunhue (Sacred  House of the Jaguar), near the town of Chachagüí (Department of Nariño - Colombia), with the presence, the  wisdom, and the ancient traditions of female shamans of the Andes, Nepal, and North America, who, with their kindness, will guide this meeting and special joint of the equinox ceremony on September 23.
